Online Agreement & Contract Builder
Pick the agreement you need from 35 types, choose the country, answer only the questions that agreement needs and get a complete numbered draft: parties, background, definitions, the main clauses for that kind of deal, the optional clauses you switch on, schedules, and signature and witness blocks. You can edit any word in the preview, then print it, save it as PDF, copy the text or download it as a Word file. Nothing is uploaded: the draft is made in your browser and saved only on this device.

How to use it
- Type a word such as "rent", "NDA" or "loan" in the search box, or scroll the list, and tap the agreement you need.
- Choose the country. The governing law, courts, arbitration rules and signing notes change to match it. Type the state, emirate or region and pick the currency.
- Fill in both parties: individual or business, name, address and, for a business, the person who signs and their title.
- Answer the questions under "Details of this agreement". Leave a box empty if you do not know yet: the draft shows [square brackets] there so you can fill it in by hand.
- Switch the optional clauses on or off. Each one has a short note on what it does.
- Read the whole draft on the right (below the form on a phone). If a word needs changing, tap "Edit text" and type straight into the draft.
- Tap Print / PDF to print or save a PDF, Word to download an editable .docx file, or Copy text to paste it somewhere else.
- Before anyone signs, read the "Before you sign" notes and have a lawyer check the draft, especially for property, large amounts or long terms.
Tips
- Changing an answer rebuilds the draft. If you have typed your own edits, the tool asks before it replaces them, so finish the answers first and edit last.
- In India, print the final agreement on stamp paper or e-stamp paper of the value your state asks for, and get every page initialled by both parties.
- Keep the names exactly as they appear on ID documents or company records, and write addresses in full with the PIN or postcode.
- Your answers are saved on this device only. Use "Clear answers" on a shared computer when you are done.
- For a deal that is unusual, large or long, use the draft to list what you want and take it to a lawyer: it saves their time and your fees.
Questions and answers
Is a contract made with this tool legally valid?
A written agreement is usually binding when the parties are able to contract, agree freely, exchange something of value and the purpose is lawful. Whether a particular draft is valid and enforceable depends on your country's and state's law, the facts and the signing formalities (stamp duty, registration, witnesses or notary). The tool gives you a starting draft, not legal advice: have a lawyer check it.
Do I need stamp paper in India?
Most agreements in India must carry stamp duty under the Indian Stamp Act or your state's Stamp Act, paid by stamp paper, e-stamp or franking. The amount depends on the state and the kind of agreement (rent agreements, for example, often depend on rent and deposit). An agreement without the right stamp cannot be used as evidence in court until the duty and penalty are paid.
Why 11 months for rent agreements in India?
Under the Registration Act, 1908 a lease for a year or more must be registered. Many people use 11-month agreements to avoid registration costs. Some states (Maharashtra, for example, for leave and licence agreements) require registration whatever the length, and registration also protects both sides, so check your state's rule.
Can I include a non-compete clause?
It depends on the country. In India, a restraint after the agreement ends is generally void under section 27 of the Indian Contract Act (with narrow exceptions such as the sale of a business's goodwill), so the tool limits it to the term of the agreement. In the UK it must protect a legitimate business interest and be no wider than reasonable; in the US several states, including California, ban most non-competes; in the UAE they are allowed within limits. The tool words it "to the extent the law allows", but check locally.
Is my information uploaded anywhere?
No. The draft is made by JavaScript in your browser. Your answers are kept in this browser's storage so you can come back to them; "Clear answers" removes them. The Word file is made on your device too.
Can I add more than two parties?
The builder makes agreements between two parties. For three or more partners, guarantors or co-tenants, make the draft, tap Edit text and add the extra party in the parties list and the signature block, or download Word and edit it there.
