Online OPD Receipt Maker
A clean consultation fee receipt in under a minute, from the reception computer or a phone. Type your clinic details once; for each patient add the name, doctor, visit type and charges. The receipt totals the charges, applies any discount, writes the amount in words and shows how it was paid. Print it, save it as PDF to send on WhatsApp, or download it as Excel or Word.

How to use it
- Type your clinic name, address, phone and registration number once. They stay saved in this browser.
- For each patient, type the name, age and sex, patient ID and the doctor, and pick the visit type.
- Check the charge lines: change the rate, or add a line for registration, dressing or a procedure (Qty 2 for two dressings).
- Add a discount if the doctor allowed one, pick the payment mode and, for UPI or card, type the reference number.
- Print the receipt or save it as PDF. Press "New OPD receipt (keep my details)" for the next patient: the receipt number moves up by one.
Tips
- On a phone, use Share › Print › Save as PDF to send the receipt to the patient on WhatsApp.
- Keep the OPD Register workbook for the day's full list of visits and collection; this tool makes one receipt at a time.
- The receipt is proof of payment only. It is not a prescription and carries no medical advice.
- Patient details you type stay in this browser until you press New. On a shared computer, press New after printing.
Questions and answers
Is the patient's data sent anywhere?
No. The receipt is made inside your browser. Only your clinic details, the last receipt number and the current draft are kept in this browser's storage, on this device.
Does a consultation receipt need GST?
Healthcare services by clinics and doctors are generally exempt from GST in India, so the receipt has no GST lines. Check with your accountant if you also sell taxable goods.
Can I use it outside India?
The amounts are shown in rupees with the amount in words in Indian style. For other currencies, use the Patient Billing workbook and change the cell format to your currency.
Can I add my clinic logo?
Not in the online tool. Download the Word file and insert your logo at the top (Insert › Pictures), then save it as your own template.
