Online Monthly Budget Planner
A quick monthly budget without opening Excel. Pick your currency, list the month's income and your spending categories with what you plan to spend and what you actually spent. The planner adds up fixed bills, everyday spending and money moved to savings, shows what is left over and your savings rate against your target, and gives you a tidy page to print or download as Excel or Word. Your household name, currency and target are remembered on this device; nothing is uploaded.

How to use it
- Type your household name, choose your currency and date style and set a savings target in percent. These stay saved on this device.
- Pick the month.
- Add each income: salary, pension, rent received, side income.
- Add your spending categories with type, planned amount and, as the month goes on, the actual amount.
- Read the totals and the savings rate in the preview, then print it or download it as Excel or Word.
Tips
- Start with last month: fill in actual amounts from your bank and UPI history and use them to set realistic plans for this month.
- Press "New budget (keep my details)" at the start of each month; your categories need to be typed again, so download last month's Excel copy to keep a record.
- For daily spend logging and a 12-month view, use the Monthly Household Budget workbook in this toolkit.
Questions and answers
Is my budget sent anywhere?
No. It is worked out in your browser. Your details and the current draft are saved only in this browser on this device; clearing site data removes them.
How is the savings rate calculated?
(Total income − Fixed − Variable spending) ÷ total income. Money moved to Savings categories and money left over both count as saved.
Can I use it outside India?
Yes. Choose your currency and date style; amounts are shown in that currency's usual format.
Does it give advice on how to save or invest?
No. It is a planning and record-keeping aid that adds up your own figures.
