Online Letter & Application Writer

Pick what the letter is about from 78 letter types in eight groups (school and college, office and job, employer and HR, bank, government and police, housing and rent, business, personal), fill in only the details that letter needs, and the writer builds a complete formal letter as you type. Choose English or Hindi, the Indian, UK or US layout and a formal, polite or firm tone, tick the optional sentences you want, edit the text by hand if you like, then copy it, print it, save it as PDF or download it as a Word or text file. Your name, address and other details are remembered only on this device; no AI and no server are involved, and nothing you type is uploaded.

What's inside

How to use it

  1. Under "What is the letter about?", press Change and search for your letter (for example "fee", "resignation", "cheque", "RTI"), or scroll the groups and pick one.
  2. Choose the language, layout and tone. Hindi letters always use the Indian layout; type names and reasons in Hindi too so the whole letter reads in one language.
  3. Fill in your details once (name, address, class or designation, account number); they are remembered on this device for every letter.
  4. Check who the letter is going to. Leave "To" empty to use the usual designation (The Principal, The Branch Manager, The Public Information Officer) or type a name.
  5. Fill in the details about this letter. Anything still missing shows in yellow brackets in the preview, so you can see at a glance what is left.
  6. Tick or untick the optional sentences, add enclosures or copy-to lines if you need them, and read the letter on the right.
  7. Press Edit text to change any word by hand, then Copy, Print / PDF, Word or Text. Sign the printed letter above your name.

Tips

Questions and answers

Is this an AI letter writer?

No. Every letter type has wording written by people, with sentences that switch on or off depending on what you fill in. The same details always give the same letter, and nothing is sent to a server.

Which letters can it write?

Seventy-eight types, including school and college applications (sick leave, leave by a parent, fee concession, TC, bonafide, character certificate, scholarship, migration), office letters (leave, work from home, resignation, salary certificate, increment, NOC), employer letters (appointment, warning, experience, relieving, internship, salary revision), bank letters (account closure, address change, cheque book, statement, loan, card block, stop payment, mobile number, nominee, failed transaction, loan NOC), government and police letters (garbage and drains, roads and street lights, water, electricity, RTI, theft FIR, lost documents, passport and Aadhaar address proof), housing letters, business letters and personal letters.

Can it write in Hindi?

Yes. Choose हिन्दी as the language. Every letter type has its own Hindi text, and the verbs change for a male or female writer, so a girl's leave application says "की छात्रा हूँ" and a boy's says "का छात्र हूँ".

What is the difference between the Indian, UK and US layouts?

The Indian layout starts with Date and "To," followed by the address, puts the Subject before "Respected Sir/Madam," and ends with "Thanking you" and "Yours faithfully". The UK layout puts your address at the top right, the subject after the salutation and closes with "Yours faithfully" or "Yours sincerely". The US block layout keeps everything on the left, writes the date as November 2, 2026 and closes with "Sincerely,".

Is my information saved anywhere?

Only in this browser on this device, so you do not have to type your name and address again. Press "Forget my saved details" to remove everything. Nothing is uploaded.

Can I use these letters for legal or official matters?

They are well-written starting drafts. For legal notices, court matters, tax or immigration, check the wording with a professional and follow the office's own form or rules.
